A free sketch drawn as part of that popular journal meme. I was kind of building off the idea that Tinc looks very frog-like, and any (human) crewmates might use that as a base for some pranks.... umm yeah. ^^"
Well anyway, I hope you like this visualisation of your character, R-Zion. I didn't know what colour he'd be so I kind of ad-libbed it a bit.
This is R-Zion's character Tinc. You can see his original drawing by clicking here
I love it, CA! Gracias! The prankster got pranked! Classic.
Having worked on my mystery story for a while, I forget exactly what color his clothes would be (though I like the look of that) and you're actually close on the skin colors. In my mind, I was doing a poison dart frog design with the patches being bright blue and his skin black. All in all, though, this is marvelous! I need to commission you more one of these days after taking advantage of all of your free offers.
Oohhhh I like that colouring. I went for pastel tones in this one but I can see how those colours would work. What colour would his eyes be? Red/Yellow/Blue?
Ha, I'd love to get a commission sometime! I wouldn't know where to start with payments, though... so I'd probably do it for free or as some sort of art exchange.

Leaving a without a comment is like saying thank you without making eye contact. Its nice and all - but I have no idea what it means.
I know what you mean about not knowing what to charge. I did a business card some time ago for a friend and had to think long and hard before I decided what to charge (and I asked around for a good bit of advice too). Your art is excellent...don't sell yourself short by not taking money for your work.
As to Tinc's eyes, I'd probably say yellow/green...about the color you have now might be good.
Oh, I think a goldy/green would work well for his black/blue colour scheme.
Thanks, R-Z... you've given me a bit to think about. PSoph and I are going to try and sell some artwork at a convention this year so depending on what I learn from that I might get some clue about whether I can charge for commissions and how much that should be.
I think it'll be a fair while before I start charging on DA, though - not only do I have to convert currency but I also don't have the experience or see a demand for it. I will think about the idea of charging for artwork sometime though- thanks for the encouragement.

XD Thanks! R-Z described him as a space pilot who is quite a joker and prankster.. so the tables are turned in this picture.
I'm finding it hard to know how much time to put into these sketches... I'd just put up linework but I don't want a gallery full of that so I'm trying to add colour to jazz them up a bit.
I've finished my picture of Tsumi (traditional media for this one); should be up today.

and yeah I know what you mean! I'm still deciding what to do with mine. So far I have been having them match the quality of the freee sketch I got from the person i am doing it for!
I have a couple sketches of matthew done but I dunno which I like more. I'll prolly post them all haha
