This is the halfway point of my 10 free sketches. Yata! Also, I drew it inbetween classes, on the huge Intuos Wacoms that they have in the lab. If they ever decide to sell one of those off to me I'll be happy.

Jack looking sneaky and unimpressed. He is Amenco's original character; you can see one of her drawings of him here.

I hope you like this quick little picture, Amenco!

Of COURSE I like it! X3  Haha, it's funny, I was going through my devwatch and saw this and thought "Wait a minute... That guy looks familiar!" And sure enough it really was my Jack! :glomp: I'm so grateful, thank you very much! I love how both outfits are put together, and his braid sticking out! Ahh, nobody can catch him even if they tried~

Haha that's weird, I'm glad you stumbled accross it so quickly, though. ^^
For this picture I figured he could be hiding out somewhere after a theft, lying low unil the authorities calm down. I quite liked his hood.. but I also really liked the other outfit with his boots and belts, so it was nice to be able to use them both and add in a little detail (although its still a very rough picture, sorry).

This is a BEAUTIFUL drawing! I love the colors on this--it matches the guys name to a tee! I do have one query:

What exactly does "Feh." mean? I know it's some sort of scoff or something, but is there an exact definition for it? Yes, these are the things I ponder at 2 in the morning.

Again, great job! And congrats on reaching the 1/2 way mark!

Really? Wow, thank you Khaki. ^^ :glows:

Um... other people might use the word differently. To me, 'feh' is pretty synonymous with ';pah'. Kind of like a noise you use when you dismiss something as worthless, maybe? So probably some sort of scoff.

Ha, I ponder those sorts of things early in the morning, too. Get some sleep, my friend!

Oh yes - and hooray for the halfway mark. Lets get the rest of these sketches done so I can upload some other deviations! :D

Thanks Sean! Its a bit of a random expression but its fun to do that sort of thinge every once in a while. :)

Nicely done, I like the colors you've used.

And your campus has an intuos tablet for student use. *jealous* I still have just my little graphire, and I'm the only tablet user in my department beyond a prof who goofs around with one every so often.

 Oh yes, I'd love if I could somehow get a cheap Intous. Mind you, I'd have to clear some desk space for it.

What I would like to save up for would be a good tablet pc where I could draw on the screen with pressure sensitivity. :) Better than a cintiq, even.

That's sad. Tablets are so good to use when doing digital work. That said - we have this fantastic lab completed fitted out with side-by-side monitors and an intuos for each PC - AND NOBODY USES THE TABLETS. It frustrates me.

Ah, yes. *drools over the high priced and highly awesome tablet technology*

Part of the problem is that we have a lot of theft on campus, so there'd have to be a room monitor constantly guarding the things. I wouldn't let someone pay me to go back to using a mouse, or heaven forbid the touch pad on my laptop, for digital work, there's no comparison.
